Meet Lili

I'm a hair stylist and colorist at The Hive Salon in Leander, Texas, and my whole approach comes down to one thing: hair that actually belongs to the person wearing it.

No two heads of hair want the same thing, so I don't work from a fixed menu of looks. Every appointment starts with the same question: what do you want your hair to do for you on an ordinary morning? The answer shapes everything after it, from the placement and the tone to the shape and how much maintenance you're signing up for.

My favorite work is dimensional. I weave highlights and lowlights so the color moves and grows out gracefully instead of hitting a hard line. I also love vivid color, razor cutting, and the kind of full transformation that takes a few hours and changes how someone carries themselves. But the goal is never the boldest possible version. It's the version you'll still like in six weeks.

My chair is a one-on-one experience: no rushing, no upselling, and no walking out with a cut you have to re-learn how to style. Color services begin with a complimentary 15-minute consultation, and I'd rather tell you honestly that something will take two appointments than promise it in one.

Training & continuing education

Continuing education has always been an important part of my career. Techniques change, product chemistry changes, and the only way to keep doing better work is to keep going back and learning it properly.

I've attended multiple hair shows in Orlando, Redken Symposiums, and a week-long course at the Redken Exchange in New York, along with ongoing advanced classes throughout my time behind the chair.

When I'm not at the salon

I'm originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and the Austin area is home now. You'll usually find me reading fantasy novels, working on an art project, exploring interior design, or spending time with animals.

More than anything, I want the salon to feel like somewhere you can be honest about what you want, and somewhere you leave feeling like yourself. I can't wait to have you in my chair!
